Any Good Pulls?

Battle Pack 2: War of the Giants Round 2 has been out for a week now, so I wanted to see if anyone had pulled anything good yet.  Looking at the completed list, there isn’t a whole lot of good to be had.  Considering Number 11: Big Eye‘s $20 price on ebay, I doubt I’ll be getting one after all.  I had hoped the price would come down more than that, but maybe it’s still fairly difficult to pull.

I’m not really sure why they re-released the Evilswarm base monsters as commons.  4 of the 5 Evilswarm monsters they re-printed are in common form now.  When they came out in Hidden Arsenal 7, they were Super Rares and very easy to pull.  The only cards I had to buy for that deck were the Secret Rares.  Plus, no normal player would want to build their deck with a Common version of a card that comes in a very easy to get Super.

Maybe I’m just hating on Konami again.  I mean, I know the purpose of the Battle Packs isn’t really to introduce new cards or re-print highly sought after cards; they’re for sealed play.  I will not be experiencing sealed play any time soon though, because unfortunately for me, none of my local stores participate in fun things like that for Yugioh.  Magic The Gathering is the only game that gets any love, even though locally there are more Yugioh players than Magic.

Anyway, I’ll stop whining.

I doubt I’ll be buying any of the Battle Pack Round 2 packs.  I’m saving up for Legacy of the Valiant if I decide to keep playing this game.  Let me know if you pulled anything good though, because it’s always exciting to hear what people pull.

P.S. Anyone else notice that Big Eye was released in Round 2, along with Number 11: Big Eye?  Looks like Konami is opening the floodgates to a lot of bad ebay purchases.  For Sale: Battle Pack 2 Round 2 Big Eye!
